I was really fascinated by the taste of all the teas that I bought here . Plus the good thing is Nature's Apothecary is a local company #SupportLocal ✊ wondering to avail the TSK but from my suggestion, I hope we can choose or customize it. and a little bit disappointed ☹️ cuz I only got 1 freebie sample. I was expecting 2 or more cuz I bought many . anyways all goods and will surely buy again

I have a preference for Golden Monkey and English Breakfast for my morning tea but I decided to buy this one on a whim and because it was on sale. This is now easily one of my favorites! I find that it is a delicate but lively brew that I now enjoy not only in the morning but in the afternoon as well.

A lot of the teas I got from the recent @naturesapothecary.ph sale are black teas, including this one called Aurora ☀️ Picked it coz I like black tea in general, Sleeping Beauty was my favorite Disney Princess as a child, and I liked the description of caramelly, cocoa-y, malty notes with the (contradictory?) floral notes.
.
When you open the bag, Aurora smells faintly malty and sweet; much more gentle versus a typical black tea. The aroma is more floral, though.
.
I took this cup hot; the first sips are warm, deep, caramel-like, sweet, and smooth (not cloying). As the tea cools, you get a more refreshing vibe reminiscent of watermelons. It wasn't the malty, cocoa-like flavor that was promised, but it's still a pretty okay brew with the stuff I like in a black tea
.
You'll like Aurora if you:
Want a more "gentle" black tea
Want to explore black tea outside of Earl Grey or English Breakfast
Want a black tea that pairs easily with any breakfast (in this case, I had sourdough with chicken spread plus lettuce from my balcony garden)
